Yolk

This week in honor of the TCU Baylor game I visited a restaurant in Fort Worth by the name of Yolk. They are known for their breakfasts and brunch, so I went early to visit a friend for the morning.
It is easy to find the vegetarian options on the menu, as they have carrots marked next to the name of the entrée. There was a huge variety, making it difficult to decide.
After much speculation I decided to order the West Coast Crepes. This entails smashed avocado, mushrooms, scrambled eggs, jack and cheddar cheese inside of two sweet crepes. It came with a side of either cheesy grits, red potatoes or fresh fruit, which I choose.

At first I was hesitant to order this, since it was such a mix of sweet and savory but it ended up being delicious. It was very filling, and I was only able to finish one of the crepes along with the fruit but it was well worth the price, which was pretty hefty.

I would highly recommend this restaurant to any vegetarian in the Fort Worth area for a delicious brunch with plenty of options to choose from.
